How to create a free email account with Atomic Mail?

To create a free email account visit our sign up page. Every account is free by default, giving you full mail app functionality, encrypted email, and unlimited storage with 10 aliases. It’s one of the most generous free tiers available, and you can always upgrade to Atomic Mail Plus if you need even more private email features.

Is Atomic Mail secure?

Yes. Atomic Mail is built for secure, private email with end-to-end and zero-access encryption, so even we can’t read your encrypted content. You also get seed phrase recovery, strong spam protection, and private sign-up to help keep your account anonymous.

Does Atomic Mail have email encryption?

Yes, Atomic Mail includes email encryption as a core feature. When messaging between Atomic users, use Atomic encryption powered by ECIES. If you need to send encrypted email to a traditional provider, you can choose "Encrypt by Password" or "Encrypt as File." All encryption happens locally on your device; because we use zero-access encryption, we technically cannot decrypt your messages.

To upgrade to Atomic Mail Plus on the web version, click Unlock Plus in the bottom-left corner or open your profile menu in the top-right and choose Upgrade to Plus. In the mobile email app, tap your profile icon in the top-right and select Upgrade to Atomic Mail Plus.
